Are you interested in knowing a bit more about the moss flora that is throughout your backyard, city and ecosystems beyond? I have devoted much of the last six years to understanding the taxonomy and ecology of Bryophytes (mosses, liverworts and hornworts) in the Pacific Northwest, and in return, I have gained an ecological comprehension of  our massive landscapes from the minutia. I recently moved to Bellingham and will be hosting 1-2 hour bryophyte field tours twice a week, in the area. These tours would be helpful for botany, ecology, environmental science students and naturalists who are interested in expanding their ecological experiences. Admission is $10.00 per person, and you will also receive several pieces of literature that are helpful for understanding bryophytes.
